The Vancouver Canucks finally won again, and they did it the hard way. Filip Hronek scored on a 5-on-3 power play with 11 seconds left in overtime to give the Canucks a 6-5 win over the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Vancouver snapped a 10-game losing streak after trailing 5-2 with under eight minutes left in the third period.

Canucks Score Four Straight

Hronek Wins It on the 5-on-3

The Canucks drew two penalties in overtime, and Hronek blasted a one-timer from the point for the winner, his second point of the night. Leevi Meriläinen made 18 saves for Vancouver, which improved to 3-10-1 and had been 0-9-1 during the skid. It was the first three-goal third-period comeback by any team this season, according to the Canucks. Lukas Dostal made 27 saves for Anaheim, and Jackson LaCombe had three assists.
